ECSA, the National Technical Committee on Exhibition and Convention of Standardization Administration of China, exercises administrative responsibilities by undertaking unified management, supervision and overall coordination of standardization work in Chinese trade fair industry. Founded in 2008, the Committee currently comprises of 116 decision makers from the key players that represent exhibition organizers, and exhibition service providers. More than 50 employees in 6 working groups actively pursue the interests of the Chinese trade fair industry. The Chairman, Mr. Liu Zhaobin, former Vice President of the Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China (SAC) heads the ECSA which has its headquarters in Beijing.
ECSA's members share the following aims:
- Establish and consummate the national standard for the trade fair industry in China.
- Represent the interests of our members to government and commercial institutions.
- Promote the interests of the Chinese trade fair towards the Institutions while helping to increase knowledge of the sector among policymakers and the general public.
- Support the exchange of information and experience among our members and coordinate collaboration on a partnership basis.
